There’s a Problem with the Internet.
In the beginning, the Internet enabled private and direct interactions between people, but today, nearly all communications are routed through centralized third-party corporations that seek to gather your personal data and monetize your transactions.
This level of control over your information and communication is unprecedented, creating issues of privacy, data security, and information manipulation - not to mention freedom of expression.
But, what if we could go back to the original, decentralized nature of the Internet?
It’s Time For the Internet to Evolve.
Today, each and every centralized app exists in a silo; a kind of walled garden, meant to protect ‘intellectual property’ and old-school business models. Within these individual environments, everything a user does is routed through centralized corporations that seek to gather personal data and monetize as many user interactions as possible.
But what if we removed the idea of individual apps existing in a centralized platform all together? And what if we created a new kinds of decentralized app, ones that functioned more like building blocks, that could easily ‘talk’ to one another and mash together to create entirely new products and services?
This would change everything - and we think it’d all be a whole lot more fun.
